A metallic element, Titanium is a strong metal, yet has a very low density. Steel is 55% heavier than Titanium although both elements are just as strong, and it is 60% heavier than Aluminum but Titanium is twice as strong. Titanium is lustrous and metallic-white in color. When heated, the element is ductile and malleable. *1941 K is Titanium’s melting point and **3560 K is its boiling point. Titanium’s density is 4.507 g/cm cubed which is considered very light for an element. In water it is insoluble, however it is soluble in concreate acids. Its standard state is solid at 25 ° C or 77 °F.
